Located 20 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale on a small peninsula between Pompano & Deerfield, the Town of Hillsboro Beach extends 3.2 miles from the Hillsboro Inlet. Hillsboro Beach has only one road, State Highway A1A aka Hillsboro Mile/ Millionaire’s Mile in the towns boundaries. To the east is the Atlantic Ocean and to the west is the Intracoastal Waterway. Hillsboro Beach consists of direct Oceanfront estates and Waterfront Condos. Unlike typical oceanfront homes where vessel dockage is not possible, Hillsboro properties include a No Wake Zone Intracoastal Front Lot across the street which can accommodate a vessel. The average lot frontage is 100’ and the average purchase price begins at $5,000,000. The town was named for the Earl Of Hillsborough, who received large grants of land from the King of England while Florida was an English possession.
